**KEY INGREDIENT**
**Mica** is a term given to a group of naturally occurring, earth-derived, non-toxic silicate minerals, often used in cosmetic formulations to create an iridescent or opalescent shine. They also absorb sebum and oil without leaving visible buildup on the skin. Mica is considered safe for use in cosmetics, including those applied to the eyes and lips. When the controversial use of child labour in mining mica was exposed, the Responsible Mica Initiative was formed to promote the ethical sourcing of mica that prohibits exploiting child labour. -
**HOW TO USE** 1. AS EYESHADOW - Using a Flat Shader Brush, press Shimmer onto the eyelid for maximum payoff. For softer color, use a fluffy brush to sweep it across the lid. Apply dry for a diffused glow or dampen the brush with water or Transforming Gel for a foiled, metallic finish. 2. AS HIGHLIGHTER - Use a fluffy brush - like the Medium Angled Contour Brush for cheek and collar bones or the Angled Blending Brush for smaller areas. Lightly dust Shimmer on the high points of the face - cheekbones, brow bone, inner corner of the eyes or Cupid’s bow - for a radiant, luminous sheen. Choose lighter shades for a soft glow and metallic tones for a bolder highlight. 3. AS LIP COLOUR – Pat Shimmer onto finished lips using a lip brush or fingertip or to create a multidimensional, shimmering finish. Mix them with Lip Gaze for a custom, metallic lip gloss. 4. AS EYE PAINT AND LINER - Add Shimmer to a few drops of Transforming Gel to create a custom paint for long-lasting, virtually water-proof eye colour or eyeliner that won’t bleed into fine lines. 5. AS BODY HIGHLIGHT - Create a subtle, shimmery highlighter by adding Shimmer to face and body creams and lotions. In a small spray bottle, ass Shimmer to Face Finish or Ultra Matte an all-over glow. Apply to shoulders, collarbones or legs for a radiant, light-catching finish. **PRO TIP** For maximum color payoff and control, apply loose pigments to a slightly tacky surface that grips the product. The gentle grip prevents the microscopic particles from scattering across the face, keeping application precise and clean. Products like Transforming Gel, Ultra Matte, Complexion Perfector and a light layer of Ultra Foundation create the grip needed for Shimmers to stay where they're applied, minimizing fallout.
