    There’s no SPF in Ultra Foundation or any FACE atelier products because it simply doesn’t work. Only products specifically formulated and approved as sunscreens provide reliable protection from the sun’s harmful rays. Even if SPF in makeup were effective, several factors limit its performance:

    1. Makeup is applied in thin layers that would make it unable to deliver even limited SPF protection.
    2. Blending can create uneven coverage, leaving some areas exposed.
    3. Sunscreen must be reapplied every two hours - typically only only lip products are reapplied frequently.

    **Cyclopentasiloxane** is a lightweight silicone that evaporates quickly from the skin’s surface, helping to evenly distribute key ingredients without leaving a heavy residue. It forms a breathable, permeable film that allows the skin to breathe while giving it a silky-smooth feel. DAB AND BLEND - Begin by stippling, or dabbing dots of foundation all over your face. Then blend with a brush gentle using tapping or buffing motions.
